Yesterday talented writer and photographer and beloved friend Hanne Hvattum shoot PR-pictures to the Kap Herschell project. Musician Stina Stjern are used to the spotlight while I am more used to having Hanne’s role as the one operating the camera capturing the images.
We are going on an expedition to Greenland in the summer 2012 and among other stuff investigate the relationship between nature and urbanity. The date chosen for the shoot was perfect – December 14th being the 100 year anniversary for Roald Amundsen and his team reaching the South Pole. Also the pretty randomly chosen location turned out to fit the project perfectly: The square where we shoot is covered with cement icebergs and is called Charlotte Ammundsens plads.
Here are some funny pictures from the shoot. The PR pictures will appear at the Kap Herchell webpage that will be launched January 2012: www.kapherschell.com.
